Lofty Audio makes LoopGround, Afterlight and Run Away Delay. This page explains, in plain words, what information we see and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and nothing we sell or share for advertising.

LoopGround for iPhone and iPad

• Your recordings, projects and settings stay on your device. We never upload your audio.
• The app uses the microphone or your audio interface only to record into LoopGround, and only when you ask it to.
• There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and there's no account to create.
• Purchases (the free trial, Full, Lite and the upgrade) are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple only tells the app what you've bought.

If you own LoopGround for Mac or Windows

Signing in as an existing owner is optional. If you choose to:

• The email address you type is sent to our licence server, which checks it against our sales records to confirm you bought LoopGround Full.
• We email you a one-time code through our email provider, Resend. We keep a scrambled (hashed) copy of the code for 15 minutes, never the code itself.
• We keep your email address and a random ID for each device you unlock, so we can limit how many devices one purchase unlocks. That random ID isn't linked to anything else on your device.
• We use this only to unlock LoopGround for you. We don't send you marketing because you signed in.

Buying on our website and the desktop versions

• Website purchases are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which receives your name, email and payment details under its own privacy policy. We see your name, email and what you bought, but never your card details.
• When you activate a desktop licence, our licence server stores your licence key and a random ID for that computer, so the licence works and can't be used on too many machines.
• If you join our mailing list, we keep your email address to send you news. You can unsubscribe from any email.

Who we share information with

Only the services that do the jobs above: Apple (App Store purchases), Lemon Squeezy (website purchases), Resend (sending the sign-in code), and Vercel, which hosts our website and licence server. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Keeping or deleting your information

We keep purchase and licence records for as long as you own the product, and as long as tax law requires. To see or delete what we hold about you, email support@loftyaudio.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Our products aren't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
